YouTuber’s Videos Are Bungie’s Lawyers’ Proof

Bungie’s lawsuit with sci-fi writer Kelsey Martineau, who accused the developer of copying a part of Destiny 2’s Red War campaign storyline on his original work that was published back in 2017 before the game’s release, has made some interesting progress recently.

Thanks to Bungie’s vaulting actions, earlier content in the game became inaccessible for everyone, including themselves, while new content was added. Therefore, to offer proof to the court, the developer had to rely on YouTubers’ archived videos. 

As spotted by Game File, obviously, Bungie is unable to provide a copy of the game to show the Red Legion storyline, so they submitted a few videos uploaded by fans instead. One is a 10-hour of hard work from MynameisByf, titled The Complete Story of Destiny! From Origins to Final Shape! Light & Dark Saga Lore & Timeline, and another one is Destiny 2: The Red War All Cutscenes (Season 1) by content creator Destin. Here’s the explanation from Bungine:
