
HOLDEN, Mo. (KCTV) – Saturday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that sent a driver and his four passengers to the hospital.
The crash happened around 3:22 p.m. on Feb. 22 as a 17-year-old driver was headed east on MO-58.
According to a report, as the driver approached an S-curve in the road, the rear tires on his 2005 Ford Escape started to slide. He tried to pull the car back but overcorrected and went off the side of the road, hitting a ditch and overturning.
The driver and his four passengers, all from Knob Knoster, were taken to a hospital in Warrensburg, Missouri. The driver had minor injuries, while the 15, 13, 11, and 9-year-old passengers were moderately injured.
The Ford was towed from the scene and reported as totaled.
