One to watch!
Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has discreetly filmed a new car show.
The news follows his recent health worries, during which he confessed to ‘trying everything not to die’ adding that he’s working hard to stay alive for his grandchildren.
According to The Daily Star, they disclosed that the 64-year-old icon is featured in the new series of Car SOS.
The producers of the popular show persuaded Clarkson to help restore a Land Rover Discovery Series 1 for a deserving motorist and agreed to host the grand unveiling at his residence.
Host Tim Shaw said: “Jeremy was happy for us to bring a full coachload of people. Just imagine 60 strangers turning up at your property!
“We spent about half an hour with Jeremy, and he was warm, friendly, and, of course, typically sarcastic and funny.
“He genuinely cared about the wellbeing of both the team and, most importantly, the car’s owner.”
The new series begins on March 13 at 8pm on National Geographic.
Between 2002 and 2015, Clarkson presented Top Gear alongside Richard Hammond and James May.
The trio subsequently developed The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime which launched in 2016 and ran until September last year.
May spoke of his disappointment that the show had concluded. He told Yahoo: “It’s sort of sad, and I know people are sad that it’s over, but it couldn’t go on forever, and we’re all getting on a bit.
“And we exhausted the idea fairly thoroughly, I think, so it’s like we quietly put it to one side rather than destroy it.”
