Fans of the Portland Timbers and Thorns will have new food options at home matches this season.
Providence Park has a host of new menu items for 2025, like a pickle-brined fried chicken sandwich, tuna poke bowl with mac salad, Tillamook mac & cheese topped with Brussels sprouts and bacon, Korean pork dumpling salad and house-smoked loaded brisket nachos.
Those items come in addition to local restaurants like Killer Burger, Pizzicato and Cha Cha Cha, as well as Zenner’s Sausage Company’s concession stand in section 99.
And for the second consecutive year, the Timbers will host the Guest Chef Program featuring appetizers from local chefs in the Tanner Ridge on match days. The 2025 Guest Chef lineup includes Gabriel Rucker of Le Pigeon, James Beard nominees Sarah Schafer of Humble Spirit and Kari Shaughnessy of Hayward, as well as Café Olli, Kachka, Lilia Comedor, República and Yaowarat. The full Guest Chef Program schedule will be announced at a later date.
In celebration of their 50th season, the Timbers will hold a variety of special match days, including: Spirit of 75 Night (vs. San Jose on June 13), 10th anniversary of winning the MLS Cup celebration (vs. Real Salt Lake on July 16), 50th Anniversary Night (vs. Minnesota United FC on July 19) and Diego Chara Bobblehead Night (vs. FC Cincinnati on Aug. 16).
The Timbers open their season against Cascadia Cup rival Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. PT.
