A pet dog has gone viral for sharing exactly how he felt about his owner creating a video game version of him.
Brianna, who posts to TikTok under the username @yikes.its.brianna, was carefully creating a version of her dog in the video game The Sims when she decided to let her pup look at the work in progress.
“I just noticed that while I was making his character in The Sims he kept staring at the screen, so I brought him closer,” she told Newsweek. “And he seemed to feel threatened by his doppelgänger!”
The video on Brianna’s account racked up over 280,000 likes since being posted on February 9.
In the clip, Brianna shows off a terrier-like model with a white body on her computer. But the model’s real-life twin is having none of it, as Bonzai stares at the screen growling loudly, very clearly not impressed.

Bonzai the Rat Terrier had a visceral reaction to seeing his on-screen doppelgänger.

“He is not a fan of his sim self,” Brianna wrote in the caption
She told Newsweek Bonzai is a rescue. He is around 2 years old and “still has some puppy energy,” she said, but they’re not sure of his breed.
“But we’re pretty sure he’s a rat terrier based on his colors and personality.”
Rat terriers are known for their inquisitive and friendly nature as well as for being affectionate toward family and good with young children. They are however not always lovable toward other dogs, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC).
The American breed, first recognized by the AKC in 2013, are described as happy-go-lucky, playful and tough, and in 2023 was 36th in the list of the most popular dog breeds in the U.S.
TikTok users loved the video of Bonzai warning off his video game doppelgänger, with one joking: “Me seeing myself in a tagged photo.”
“That looks NOTHING like me,” another wrote, as one said “I don’t look like dat” and another suggested he “got the uncanny valley feeling for sure.”
“I do the same looking in the mirror [to be honest],” one user said, with another agreeing “I mean this is how I react too when I see a picture of myself.”
And as one summed it up: “Why do both versions of this dog have attitude?”
