Souper Bowl of Caring: How inflation impacts Southeast Texas Food Bank

Inflation is impacting meals served at dinner tables across the country.

Food banks who help families serve those meals are not exempt.

Harvey Zernial, President/CEO of the Southeast Texas Food Bank, says inflation has impacted the non-profit’s programs.

Normally, the food bank spends $600,000-$800,000 a year for food. Now, up to $2.3 million is spent.
