KATY, Texas (WKRC) – A mother was arrested after she allegedly beat her four kids with a dog leash and threatened to burn their hair because they wouldn’t confess to dropping a tissue on the ground.
According to a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, 31-year-old Ebony Gonzalez became upset with her four children (ages 11, 11, 8, and 6) on Wednesday after she found a tissue on the floor that none of them would admit to dropping.
Gonzalez allegedly beat the children with a dog leash, then turned on the stove and threatened to burn their hair off if they did not confess.
Police said they learned of the incident when one of the children passed a note to their friend that explained what had happened, and the friend told authorities.
The children were taken into protective custody with a variety of wounds and bruises, per investigators.
Gonzalez was arrested and charged with four counts of injury to a child.
