Alec Baldwin, father of 8, thinks about having more kids, wife Hilaria says

Baby No. 9 likely won’t be coming any time soon for Alec Baldwin.

Hilaria Baldwin, who shares seven children with the “30 Rock” actor in addition to one child from his previous relationship, told People in an interview published Thursday that she isn’t too keen on the idea of expanding their baseball team-sized family.

“He’s always asking me for more kids,” Hilaria Baldwin, 41, told the outlet. Alec Baldwin, 66, interjected, telling the reporter: “Don’t judge me.”

The couple share kids Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and Marilu, 4, and Ilaria, 2. Alec Baldwin shares oldest daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

“I don’t really want one,” Alec Baldwin clarified, but he admits to getting baby fever every once in a while. “Every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at (Hilaria) and I go, ‘Time to have another.’”

“They’re so cute,” Hilaria confessed. “But my body’s really tired.”

The couple are promoting their new TLC reality show, “The Baldwins,” premiering later this month.

The network released a first look at “The Baldwins” last month, which follows the lives of the couple and their kids. The trailer begins on a lighthearted note by showing the chaos that comes with the Baldwins trying to take care of “seven children (and) six animals.”

But the teaser takes a somber turn as it delves into the events surrounding the “Rust” shooting. A gun Alec Baldwin was holding on the movie’s set went off in 2021, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and Baldwin were both charged in the shooting. The former was found guilty and sentenced to 18 months in prison in April. The latter’s involuntary manslaughter case was abruptly dismissed in July due to allegations that prosecutors and law enforcement withheld evidence.

Last month, Baldwin alleged prosecutors violated his civil rights and defamed him in a civil lawsuit he filed in Santa Fe County District Court.
