Lou Malnati’s Serving Up Heart-Shaped Pizzas To Support Local Food Banks

CHICAGO — Not in the mood for cooking this Valentine’s Day? Here’s a fun offer to go out or order in for a good cause.

Local pizza chain Lou Malnati’s is helping “dish out some love” with the return of its heart-shaped ‘za to benefit local food banks.

Through Feb. 28, Lou Malnati’s will donate $1 from every heart-shaped pizza sold to Feeding America food banks, including the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

The “Dish Out Some Love” campaign applies to dine-in, carry-out and delivery orders, according to the Lou Malnati’s website. People can also send virtual heart-shaped pizza gift cards or ship pizza to a loved one.
