The Back to the Bricks Chrome and Ice Winter Car Show happening this weekend

Its time to rev up those engines for one of mid-Michigan’s most popular car shows.

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – It’s time to rev up those engines for one of mid-Michigan’s most popular car shows.

The Back to the Bricks Chrome and Ice Winter Indoor Car Show is taking over the Dort Financial Center in Flint this weekend.

There’s everything from hot rods to muscle cars, to custom vehicles.

This year’s theme is “The Evolution of Racing!”

Cars featured this year were built to race from across the generations.

Car enthusiasts there Saturday talked all about the cars they saw and loved along with all the memories they bring.

“Flint was where I first took a job at Buick in 1963, the year I graduated from high school,” said car lover Larry Hughes. “My first car was a 1939 Chevy so out of all the cars that I see here  this car that’s behind me is the one that I’d choose.”

Chrome and Ice runs through this Sunday, Feb 9, 2025

Sunday the Dort will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

General admission is 10 dollars for adults and 7 dollars for young ones ages 12 to 17 while kids under 12 get in free.

Parking is 5 dollars.

You can find all the details on the Back to the Bricks website.
