Now Open: The Low Bridge “Kids” Café

The next time the family pays a visit to Canalside, be sure to stop at The Low Bridge Café.

Operated by Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum – the café is the perfect spot to grab a family-friendly lunch, including roller grill hot dog,s pizza by Sports City Pizza Pub, Little Explorer and KidVenturer meals, taco in a bag, loaded nachos, soft pretzel, Perry’s ice cream, and lots of sweets and treats. Adults will be happy to find a few things that might appeal to them as well, such as a Caesar salad to-go, sandwiches (ham and cheese, turkey, egg salad), Italian sausages, and coffee.

There’s plenty of room for families to enjoy the colorful café experience, whether they’re simply meeting up with others before exploring Canalside, stopping by during a visit to the Museum, or testing out the Pucker Powder candy art station. This is the type of place where kids rule the roost, and don’t have to be on a short leash.

The Low Bridge Café is located directly across from Shark Girl, on the ground floor of the Museum. Café days/hours are Fridays and Saturdays (10:30am-3:30pm). The café is also open exclusively to museum patrons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:30am to 3:30pm, and on Sundays from 11am-3pm.
