Horry County accepting applications for food trucks to operate in Garden City

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Officials in Horry County want to find the best food trucks to set up shop in a busy South Strand area.

The county government posted on Facebook that it’s now accepting applications for food trucks to bring their flavor to the beach.

The parking lot is new in the heart of Garden City and can host up to five food trucks at a time. It’s located on Atlantic Avenue and Dogwood Drive North.

The county said it’s the perfect spot for foot traffic from hungry beachgoers.

Food truck vendors interested in applying can visit the county’s website.
