Columbia offers free summer lunches for kids

The City of Columbia is serving free lunches for kids all summer long.

Now through August 7, children and teenagers under 18 can enjoy free weekday lunches at community centers, neighborhood sites and parks.

Participating locations and times include –

• Again Street Park (12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)
• Armory Sports Center (12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)
• Bear Creek (12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
• Columbia Square (11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
• Indian Hills Park (11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
• Progressive Missionary Baptist Church (11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
• Stewart Parker Apartments (12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Lunch is served Monday through Friday but will be closed July 4.
