SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Residents at Prairie Creek Assisted Living had a special surprise on Wednesday.
The Activity Director’s daughter helped organize a bike parade for residents.
Children decorated their bikes and drove by residents at the Assisted Living facility to show off their cool wheels.
“I think it’s really good for kids to interact with the elderly population. It’s fun to see their faces light up, especially over at memory care. Some of them are like, ‘Oh my gosh, why are these kids here?’” organizer Eleanor Rahn said.
Rahn added that activities like this get residents and kids excited and are a lot of fun for everyone.
