
BAY CITY — One of the region’s most beloved summer traditions is marking a major milestone this year.
The 75th annual St. Stan’s Polish Festival will take place from Thursday, June 26, to Sunday, June 29, offering summer days packed with music, food, and family fun at the St. Stan’s Athletic Club Complex, located at 2501 John Solinski Drive in Bay City.
Festival-goers can look forward to a full lineup of classic attractions, including the ever-popular Road Race, musical guests and a colorful array of carnival rides.
A massive entertainment tent will host live performances throughout the weekend, featuring an abundance of lively polka music to keep spirits high.
Guests can also enjoy a wide selection of Polish and American cuisine, along with cold beer and wine coolers to beat the summer heat.
Below is a breakdown of the day-to-day activities for the upcoming festival.
The Road Race kicks the festival off at 6 p.m. Thursday. Registration for the 5K walk/run will be open until 5 p.m. Thursday.
Lenny Longuski & the Style Sticks will play a rotation with Darrell Welton & the New Brass Express from 6 p.m. to midnight.
The Steve Drzewicki Band will play from 6-8 p.m. Friday before rotating with Sensory Overload from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Carnival rides begin at 5 p.m. Friday.
Kids’ Day is Saturday. Flight care will land a helicopter on the football field near the festival grounds at about noon. There also will be a toy giveaway for children up to 12 years old.
Musically, Mark & his Tri City Boys Band will be playing from noon to 5 p.m.; the Dyna Brass will begin playing at 5 p.m. and will then rotate with Whiskey Six from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunday is Family Day at the festival, kicking off with an 11 a.m. mass. Music will include the Dyna Brass rotating with the Steve Drzewicki band from 1-9 p.m.
