GIRARD, Ohio – Aim Transportation Solutions partnered with the Women in Trucking Association to host a hands-on event Tuesday, giving local children a chance to explore careers in the transportation industry.
Held at Aim’s maintenance facility, the event featured a truck driving simulator, big rig tours and conversations with industry professionals. A local Girl Scout troop and employees’ families participated.
“We wanted to open kids’ eyes to career paths they might not hear about in school,” said Jessica Bochy Deane, Aim’s vice president of marketing.
The event highlighted opportunities for women in trucking and aimed to spark early interest in the trades.
