
KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY) – Wednesday in Kaukauna, kids will be able to get up close and learn about different types of trucks and vehicles.
“Touch a Truck” is a free event hosted by the Kaukauna Public Library.
Vehicles on display range from emergency response units to construction machines, and kids will learn firsthand from the drivers and operators.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hydro Park, 100 Crooks Ave.
For children with sensory sensitivities, vehicles won’t demonstrate their sirens or horns after 11 a.m.
Beaming, which provides horses for physical therapy, will be on-site with a horse-riding simulator, and the Cool Bus will have ice cream and other snacks for purchase.
