Loop 303 northbound closed after food truck crashes

The crash happened at Indian School Road in Goodyear, and is causing serious delays.

GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Loop 303 northbound was shut down at Indian School Road on Tuesday after a crash involving a food truck blocked most of the highway.

The crash happened shortly before 11:10 a.m. The Goodyear Fire Department said a woman driving the food truck was ejected during the crash. She sustained serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

After the crash, the truck leaked various liquids and oils that were onboard. Goodyear Hazmat units contained and mitigated the spill.

Sky12 footage shows the food truck sustained extensive damage and debris had spread across the highway.

ADOT said the roadway reopened around 1 p.m. The truck was identified as a Queso Good Quesadilla Truck. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
