GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLUK) – Area kids can test their swimming, biking, and running skills at this year’s 2025 Kids Triathlon at the West Side YMCA in Green Bay next weekend.
The triathlon is set for June 28 from 8 to 10 a.m. It is designed for kids of all fitness levels with a course designed with safety in mind.
There are two age divisions within the competition: Mighty Mites and Junior. Mighty Mites is for ages six and under and consists of a 20-yard swim, 0.5-mile bike ride and quarter-mile run. The Junior group consists of a 50-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike ride and 0.5-mile run.
Children who compete will receive a race bib to decorate and wear during the race and every finisher will go home with a medal.
