
Lake George, NY (WRGB) — Lake George is gearing up for another year of the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival! The event is sponsored by Adirondack Winery, co-owned by Sasha Pardy. This marks the 9th year of the festival which will feature over 100 different vendors.
Attendees can expect samples from the best wine, beer, spirits, cider, non-alcoholic drinks, and various foods. A culinary or cocktail demonstration, hosted by the Culinary and Mixology Tent, will also be shown. The tent utilizes products from vendors in their recipes.
There will be various family friendly activities, including a magic show, aerial acts, music, and kid games.
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival was established in 2015 by Adirondack Winery, with the goal of creating a vibrant event that would not only create lasting memories for attendees, but would also give New York’s small family-owned craft producers a platform to introduce their amazing hand-crafted products to thousands of new faces from across the Northeast,” Sasha Pardy, Owner, Adirondack Festivals. “Each year hundreds of staff and volunteers come together to put together this fantastic event, bringing good wine, good food, good friends and good times to all.
New York State craft wines and beverages are the centerpiece of the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival. Some of the fine businesses on hand at the festival include Adirondack Winery, Adirondack Brewery, Mean Max Brew Works, Extreme Heights Cidery, Freddy’s Rockin’ Lemonade (non-alcoholic), Bull & Bee Meadery and so much more! The tastings don’t stop at wine, liquor, and beer. At this try-before-you-buy, farmers market-style event, sample chocolate, cheese, maple products, ice cream, hot sauce, slushies, jerky, olive oil, mustard, rubs, fudge, cookies, crackers, and more. The Culinary Tent features cooking and cocktail demonstrations from local chefs and bartenders, with Iron Chef and Cocktail Competitions will be on site as well for onlookers. Plus, the Biergarten Tent will be back and operated by Adirondack Brewery featuring Mean Max Brew Works, where attendees can enjoy full glasses of their beer selection as well as full glasses of a selection of Adirondack Winery Wines.
The festival kicks off Saturday, June 28th from 11AM to 6PM, and goes through Sunday, June 29th from 11AM to 5PM at the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons. Tickets will be available at the festival and online, however, advance ticket purchases are highly recommended.
