SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota Technology Users Group (STUG) and the Children’s Guardian Fund are working together to help children in foster care receive devices like computers and tablets for free.
The organizations accept used technology (laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, printers) in any condition. The devices are sanitized and refurbished for people in our community who cannot afford a device.
Youth in foster care are especially impacted by the digital divide so they are making an effort to increase donations to equip all foster youth this fall with technology for school.
