Food Truck Fight to feature no duplicate cuisines

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – Food Truck Fight organizers say the feat will return to the Quad Cities for the 8th time.

Organizers said the fight will be from noon – 8 p.m. on July 19 at the Rest Belt. The winner will be crowned at 7 p.m.

For the first time ever, organizers said the food truck lineup has no duplications in food items.

The event is set to feature 13 local and regional food trucks serving $5 items as well as full menus.

Organizers said admission prices are:

  • $10 per adult on the day of the event
  • Free for kids 12 and under if the rust belt is not at capacity
  • $15 pre-sale tickets
    • Guarantee admission
    • Come with a free koozie and signature spork
  • Free attendee parking

According to organizers, the event will be indoor and outdoor with the food trucks being outside while seating, entertainment and activities will be indoor.
