SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Some young fans were able to get to experience the thrills of the Sioux Falls City Football Club all thanks to Minnwest Bank.
At no cost, the kids received a ticket to Tuesday night’s match against the Minnesota Aurora, a t-shirt, and a bag of goodies, along with a meal voucher.
“I think it’s going to mean a lot and just give these kids a normal night with their families. That they can all come together and have a sense of community and just enjoy the beautiful weather, cheer on something bigger than themselves,” said organizer Andrea Carstensen.
“It’s cool because they, they get to enjoy the sport of soccer if they can’t afford it but now they can,” said Canden, a young attendee.
The kids also had a chance to play on the field after the match and go through “Autograph Alley” to have a picture or jersey signed by the team.
