KSP: Woman charged after kids were found living in deplorable conditions

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – A mother was arrested after police say her children were living in deplorable conditions in Whitley County.

Kentucky State Police troopers charged Brianna Cox, 31, on Saturday.

They were originally called to her apartment in Corbin on a domestic call.

Police determined it was just a verbal argument, but found the apartment in deplorable and unsanitary conditions.

She was charged with two counts of criminal abuse and failure to notify an address change to the department of transportation.
