ORLEANS — The town of Orleans is gearing up for a busy and flavorful week, with a full slate of community events and food trucks drawing residents and visitors to the Orleans Town Square Park.
The week kicks off Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. with the weekly community walk, sponsored by Orange County Tobacco Free. Participants will gather at Hometown Scoops, and each walker will receive a free scoop of ice cream for joining the health-conscious stroll, part of the Monon South MOOvers initiative.
On Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., the highly anticipated Thursday Food Truck Frenzy will return to Orleans Square. The lineup includes:
- Agaves Mexican Grill offers authentic Mexican dishes and refreshing sodas. Its specialties include saucy enchiladas and fully loaded burritos.
- Milly’s Bloom & Sip, known for serving loaded iced teas, southern sweet teas, iced coffees, and pup cups. “Stop by to see what’s brewing at Milly’s,” the team encourages.
- Kebab on Wheels features a variety of gyro sandwiches made with lamb, chicken, and grilled eggplant. The truck also serves lamb and chicken quesadillas.

Adding to the energy, the Dazzlers Dance Center will perform at 4:30 p.m., bringing music, movement, and entertainment to the square.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and an appetite to enjoy the festivities in the park. Organizers promise a fun-filled evening of family-friendly activities, great food, and small-town community spirit.
