WNY Food 4 Paws has expanded to Allegany County!

Western New York Food 4 Paws is pleased to announce the expansion of their services to Allegany County. With the motto “Helping Families Stay Together, One Bowl at a Time,” this non-profit was created to support food pantries that provide pet food to families experiencing financial hardships. It works directly with manufacturers, pet supply stores, grocery stores and community partners to acquire pet food and other pet supplies. These pet necessities are redistributed to established food pantries and pet food pantries in the Western New York counties of Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua and most recently Allegany, thanks to the Giant Food Marts in Cuba and Wellsville which will host donation barrels in their stores. All donations will be given to local Allegany County food pantries.

At the Wellsville location, Jessie McKee, Assistant Manager, Jackie, volunteer Brenda Bradley, Ellie and Scout are ready to accept their first donations.

It is hoped that these barrels will significantly supplement the pet food and supplies being donated to the local pantries by WNY Food 4 Paws. The Genesee Food Pantry and the Rushford Food Pantry are the most recent recipients.
