
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The City of Madison is hosting Sewer Explorers for kids Friday.
Kids can learn about the city’s underground infrastructure from City Engineering employees as part of Madison’s Summer Fun for Kids program.
City crews will have two trucks used to maintain the sewers at the event for kids to learn about. There will also be a mini paper truck to decorate, a sidewalk chalk activity and a “mini City” craft.
Sewer Explorers is free to attend and registration is not required.
The event runs from 1-2 p.m. on June 13. It will be outside Hawthorne Library, located at 2707 E. Washington Ave., in Madison.
If there is a cancelation due to weather, the event will be rescheduled for June 20.
