CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan is partnering with Silver Creek Church and Silver Creek Thrift to host the mobile food pantry in Chocolay Township Thursday morning.
Food will start being distributed to the community starting at 10 a.m. and continue until 11:30 a.m. Eastern while supplies last. Organizers say there will be enough food to help feed approximately 550 families. Silver Creek Church and Silver Creek Thrift are located on 219 Silver Creek Road.
If you are unable to attend, a stand-in can pick up food for you. However, space is limited. Food distribution will be done in a drive-thru format. Guests should have enough space in their trunk or back seat for volunteers to load boxes directly inside.
