Park Gyu-Young shines at Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder event

American luxury jewelry and specialty design house Tiffany & Co. hosted an event celebrating their collection, Blue Book 2025 Sea of Wonder, at The Henderson in Hong Kong on June 6.

The high jewelry collection reimagines the hidden marvels of the ocean, drawing from the vibrant flora and fauna of the deep to transport wearers into an ethereal aquatic realm—all brought to life through the visionary lens of Nathalie Verdeille, Tiffany’s chief artistic officer for jewelry and high jewelry.

Among the notable guests, Korean actress Park Gyu-Young graced the event in a black off-shoulder number, wearing pieces from the Ocean Flora chapter of the collection, including a breathtaking necklace, earrings, rings, and a watch—collectively adorned with 128 carats of exquisite gemstones.

Sea of Wonder leans into the evocative colour palette of the ocean, capturing the iridescent shimmer of underwater light and the bioluminescence of oceanic creatures. Inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s legendary aquatic motifs, the collection dives deep into the ocean’s boundless beauty—teeming with mystery, movement, and natural poetry.

Each innovative design is a testament to the masterful craftsmanship of Tiffany’s artisans, blending intricate artistry with raw inspiration from nature. The collection unfolds in thematic chapters, each revealing a new facet of marine enchantment. The Ocean Flora designs evoke the gentle sway and lush textures of underwater plant life, while the Sea Turtle pieces feature a transformative pendant that cleverly becomes a brooch, symbolising the turtle’s journey between land and sea. The Starfish chapter reinterprets the graceful marine creature with elegant, sculptural finesse, and the Urchin designs mimic the sea urchin’s intricate, radial patterns with refined detail. Meanwhile, the Wave chapter captures the dynamic energy of the ocean’s tides through bold, undulating forms that reflect movement and power.

Each creation in Sea of Wonder reminds us that the most captivating treasures are often hidden in the unexplored corners of our world—waiting to be discovered through a lens of beauty, curiosity, and wonder.
