Bell Boulevard was buzzing with energy last weekend as the Bayside Village Business Improvement District (BID) hosted its annual Food and Music Festival on Sunday, June 8, transforming the heart of Bayside into a vibrant celebration of local culture, cuisine and talent.

Stretching along Bell Blvd. from 38th Street to 43rd Avenue, and down 41st Avenue from 213th Street to 214th Place, the free event drew crowds of all ages with live performances, interactive demos, family-friendly activities, and—most notably—plenty of mouthwatering food. Dozens of local restaurants served up signature bites, with lines forming early for fan favorites.
The beloved Restaurant Stroll returned this year, allowing guests to sample dishes from 42 neighborhood eateries for just $20, highlighting Bayside’s thriving dining scene. Festivalgoers enjoyed everything from savory skewers and sweet treats to fusion plates and refreshing beverages.

Live music and performances filled the street, creating a festive atmosphere that lasted all afternoon. Local musicians played throughout the boulevard while acrobats from The Paradigm Theater wowed the crowd with gravity-defying routines.

“This event really brings the community together,” said one local vendor. “It’s a chance for people to reconnect, discover new favorites, and support the small businesses that make Bell Blvd. so special.”
Organized each year by the Bayside BID, the Food and Music Festival has become a beloved neighborhood tradition and an early summer highlight that reflects the spirit of Bayside—community-driven, family-friendly, and full of flavor.
