Bush helps Claysburg-Kimmel reach state semifinals

Athlete of the week achievement: Bush went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs in Claysburg-Kimmel’s 10-0 win over Bucktail in the first round of the PIAA Class 1A tournament, and then she hit the game-tying RBI double in the sixth inning against Holy Cross that forced extra innings in a game C-K won, 5-4, in eight innings.

Season update: Bush has 20 RBIs and eight extra base hits for the 27-0 Lady Bulldogs going into today’s PIAA semifinal game.
