Davenport schools launch 2025 summer food program

Davenport students can receive free summer meals at schools and parks beginning June 9. No registration or income limit required.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Davenport Community School District has announced its 2025 Summer Food Service Program, offering free meals to all children ages 1 to 18 throughout the summer.

Meals will be available at multiple school and community sites starting June 9 and running through Aug. 1, with no service on July 4. No income verification, registration or paperwork is required—meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
