There were numerous raffle items donated by local businesses, with lucky winners taking home prizes. A portion of the proceeds benefited Habitat for Humanity. Each year, participants bring cars they’ve poured countless hours into, eager to share their work with fellow enthusiasts.

“People work on them over the wintertime, and they bring them out in the summer and and you see the improvements people have made on them. It’s just awesome. Some people get different cars, and it’s just a lot of fun. And of course, a lot of people have the same car they’ve had for a long time. I’ve got one here that, 51 years ago yesterday, I purchased it and when I was 15 years old. It’s a lot of fun to see the car community and the community for coming out just to see the cars in general,” said Dan Groman, director with the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.

The cars were judged by spectators and participants, with trophies awarded to the top 25 vehicles, along with honors in other special categories.
