Cinder City Days kicks off summer in Altoona

ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) – It’s the kickoff to summer in Altoona. The Cinder City Days is back for another weekend of family-friendly fun this year.

The Altoona Lions Club puts on the festival each year with the parade as the main attraction. Dozens of community members attend each year. The festival features rides, a car show and live music. Chris Kroeze is set to take the stage Saturday Night at 7:30 p.m.

The Cinder City Days wraps up on Sunday.
