Egyptian Festival wraps up with food culture at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church

Rochester, N.Y. — The Egyptian Festival at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church is concluding its second and final day on Saturday, offering a rich tapestry of cultural experiences until 8 p.m.

Attendees can indulge in a diverse array of authentic Egyptian cuisines, including shish tawook, kofta, stuffed grape leaves, and macarona bechamel.

For those seeking plant-based options, the festival features falafel, yellow lentil soup, hummus, and baba ganoush.

A tempting selection of desserts, such as baklava, Egyptian donut holes, and mango jello, is also available.

Beyond the culinary delights, visitors can explore an Egyptian Bazaar and enjoy Henna tattoos.
