LA CROSSE (WXOW) – Emplify Health by Gundersen is ensuring children have access to nutritious meals this summer.
Starting June 9 and running through August 20, Emplify Health will sponsor the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
Meals will be served on weekdays at their cafeteria located at 1900 South Ave., La Crosse. Breakfast is available from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., and lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The program is funded by the USDA and managed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Children 18 and under can receive free meals, and those over 18 who are disabled and in school programs are also eligible.
This initiative helps fill the gap when school meals aren’t available, supporting the community with essential nutrition.
