Bowling Green restaurants to raise money for food insecurity

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVG) – Restaurants, breweries, cafés and ice cream shops are coming together for the second annual Restaurant Week BG from June 16 to June 22.

According to organizers, 10% of all sales from the week will be donated to the Brown Bag Food Project of Wood County, an organization that provides food to those in need.

This year, 26 new partners are participating.

Some of the first-time participants are Guajillo’s Cocina Mexicana, Everyday People Café, The Curry Lounge and Grounds for Thought.

Returning participants include Call of the Canyon Café, Easystreet Café, Sam B’s and Beckett’s Burger Bar.
