Evergreen Public Schools to offer free meals to kids during summer

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – Evergreen Public Schools will be offering free meals to kids during the summer months.

The Summer Food Service Program will offer free breakfast and lunch to children ages 1 to 18. EPS says the kids can get meals regardless of if they attend school in the district.

The sites and dates for meals:

Marrion Elementary, 10119 NE 14th St.

  • June 13 – 20*
  • Monday-Friday
  • Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – noon

Silver Star Elementary, 10500 NE 86th St.

  • June 13 – 20*
  • Monday-Friday
  • Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:15 – 11:45 a.m.

Image Elementary, 5201 NE 131st Ave.

  • July 14 – Aug 1
  • Monday-Friday
  • Breakfast: 8:45 – 9:15 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – noon

Legacy High School, 13300 NE 9th St.

  • July 14 – Aug. 1
  • Monday-Friday
  • Breakfast: 8:45 – 9:15 a.m.
  • Lunch: noon – 12:30 p.m.

Cascadia Tech, 12200 NE 28th St.

  • June 23 – July 12*
  • Monday-Friday
  • Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

*Sites will be closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
