WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The Kemp Center for the Arts held its “Mini Makers Monday” art lab.
Kristen Shiplet, CEO of the Arts Council, said that the Art Lab doesn’t require registration and that parents can bring their kids up to age 5 and explore the fun of crafting with them.
“It is drop in, you don’t have to register. We really wanted to add another outlet for moms of littles – so little babies zero through five years old – to have a creative opportunity to come do during the week, we noticed not a lot of things were happening on Monday in particular so that’s why we chose Mini Maker Monday. We’re going to continue it through the summer to provide for people who are out of school,” Shiplet said.
The event happens every Monday from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Additional information and more events are available at www.artscouncilwf.org.
