School may be out, but the learning (and fun!) doesn’t have to stop! If you’re looking for ways to keep your kids reading over the summer, there are some great summer reading programs offering free books, treats and more just for reading! Plus, don’t forget to stop into to your local library to participate in their summer reading programs.
Malley’s Read Your Way to a Sundae

Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program
Kids in grades first through sixth can earn a free book by reading eight books and recording them in a reading journal. Once completed, just bring it into a local Barnes and Noble store to choose a free title from their summer reading selection! Download a reading journal here.
Book It! by Pizza Hut
The Book It! summer reading program offers digital reading logs and a chance to earn free personal pan pizzas for kids in pre-k through sixth grade. Scholastic Summer Reading Home Base
Join Scholastic’s digital reading community where kids can track their reading streaks, unlock book excerpts, and enter sweepstakes.
