(PHOTOS) Packed crowd for Memorial Day charity auto show

(Riverton, WY) – The parking lot was packed and engines were rumbling on Memorial Day at CarQuest in Riverton, as the Oilfield Ironmen’s Big Bear Chapter hosted their 6th annual charity auto show.

Organizers tell County 10 the event raised $1,801 for Riverton’s Special Olympics team, adding to the $8,000+ the club has raised for local causes in recent years.

The day began with a flag presentation by the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association and a prayer from the Christian Motorcycle Association, followed by a full afternoon of hot rods, community fun, and even a dunk tank – featuring local celebs like Mayor Tim Hancock.
