The Eden Center’s new food hall and nightlife venue is now open.
After a few months of delays, Pop-Up District has opened, bringing a futuristic theme and array of dining kiosks to 6763 Wilson Blvd. The food hall carries Vietnamese, Thai and Korean cuisine as well as coffee and dessert — and after dark, it turns into a late-night lounge.
It’s a day-to-night venue
- The hall intends to be a casual dining and remote working location during the day. After 6 p.m., it hopes to host a DJ, EDM music and dancing.
- Food vendors include Doppo cafe, pastry shop The Beat and Korean barbecue vendor Honey Pig Cupbop. The full-service bar Soul Bar opens next month, with an emphasis on highball drinks.
- The hall has two photo booths and a pop-up kiosk intended for a rotation of small businesses.
Its founder is an Eden Center business owner
- Pop-Up District founder Jay Tran is the owner of TeaDM, a Northern Virginia bubble tea franchise with locations in the Eden Center and in Fairfax.
- He told ARLnow that he hopes to spotlight and assist fellow small businesses through the pop-up kiosk.
- The first kiosk vendor has yet to be revealed, but Tran says that future contenders carry goods like imported fruits and Labubu toys.
The grand opening is June 8
- During the grand opening, guests can receive a 20% discount on a selection of vendors’ menu items.
- After the grand opening, the food hall’s permanent hours are 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily and 6 p.m.-2 a.m. at night.
