CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – ETHRA’s next USDA Food Distributions are Tue., June 10, at the Jellico Library from 9:30am until 11:30am or until the food is gone. The Jellico Library is in the heart of town at 104 North Main Street.
On Wed., June 11, the USDA Food Distribution is scheduled at The La Follette Community Center from 8:30am until 3pm or until the food is gone. There will be a lunch break from noon until 1 pm. The La Follette Community Center is at 300 West Beech Street in La Follette.
The staff at ETHRA reminds everyone to bring their own box, bag, crate to carry your food, because ETHRA does not provide these items. Keep in mind that you may only pick up for three households.
The ETHRA staff reminds recipients that they must bring proof of eligibility. However, if you do not have a card, you can still get food. Though you must bring proof that you receive Food Stamps, TANF (Families First), SSI, LIHEAP, live in Public Housing or you may self-declare your household income.
You are also asked to bring someone with you to carry your food out to your car.
