Local ‘Kids in Print’ artist now vendor at Richland County Library market

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The Richland County Library on Assembly Street hosted their monthly market on Wednesday.

Happening on the last Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market is a hub for local artists, bakers, farmers and more to sell their goods.

One of the newest vendors was local artist Jada Broome who was previously featured in the “Kids in Print” magazine. Broome said that both of the programs offered by the library have helped her develop new skills.

“I think both of these opportunities, doing ‘Kids in Print’ and The Market, gave me a good chance to learn about networking, getting in the community and meeting other artists,” Broome said.
