Among the top items on Conshohocken Mayor Yaniv Aronson’s current wish list: Good weather on June 7. At least between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. That’s when the annual Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show plans to take over most of Fayette Street. Organizers have scheduled a rain date for the following weekend, but “having a nice day on the seventh would make things so much easier.”
A little over a week out, “It looks good from here,” Aronson said. “Fingers crossed.”
Although the yearly event – hosted by non-profit Destination Conshohocken as a benefit for Conshohocken Art League and a variety of other non-profits – brings scores of “beautiful cars” to Conshohocken, the thousands of vehicles that pass through the borough on a daily basis are typically transient. Art, on the other hand, is a well-entrenched fixture on the town’s landscape.
Conshohocken Art League has been active for a century, and many local artists are regular exhibitors at The Artist’s Loft, 14 E. Fifth Ave., and other borough venues. Downtown Fayette Street shops like Coll’s Custom Framing, Sanctuary Blu and Thirteen Circles also offer original art on an ongoing basis. In fact, the opening reception for Dan Duffy’s Art of Words exhibit at Coll’s is also scheduled for June 7.

But the Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show brings numerous pop-up artists and craftsmen to town, and 2025’s event is no exception with their unique offerings ranging from paintings and assorted visual art to home décor and personal accessories by Michael Gray Fotography, Kiya Nicole, Nitas Wonder Boutique, Sara G. Boutique, Frank’s Swine and Beef, Glue and Stitch, AGGI Crafts, Soap a Go-Go, Edhel Atara Naturals, Meghan Gleason, Leigh Scholtz Art, ReLove By Lillian, Cigar Box Paper Arts, Jon Bandish, Expressions by: Toni, Leah Macdonald, Maddy Made Pottery, DOCs, Hands of Time by Judi, Kimmy Art by Kim Tatum Robbins, 27thstreetpress, Books Boxes and Beyond and Conshy Tees.

Representatives from area non-profits and civic groups will also be on hand, and food and drink options will run the gamut from streetside eat-on-the-run snacks to sit-down service at the borough’s many restaurants and pubs.
A pair of Fayette Street music stages will anchor the action with everything from folk and pop to honky tonk. Acoustic performances by Oaks from the Side Chicks, Max Davey, Elissa Janelle Velveteen and Rob Tait are scheduled for the main stage at Fritz Lodge, Eighth Ave. and Fayette St., while the Alexis Cunningham, Sacred Monsters, Roberta Faceplant and Tubey Frank bands will perform on the new Boathouse-Pub stage at First Ave. and Fayette St.
The car show segment of the June 7 street fair is expected to attract its usual mix of traditional automobiles and miscellaneous vehicles, with some two dozen awards up for grabs. Winners will be announced from the Fritz Lodge main stage beginning at 3 p.m. Check-in is set for 8:30-10:30 a.m. at 1100 Fayette Street. Pre-registration is $15; day-of, $20.
“We’ll have a bunch of borough (emergency) vehicles there — including the street sweeper, which was really popular last year…and the Conshy Cab, which people really enjoyed,” Aronson said. “Conicelli Autoplex is bringing a fleet of cars, which will be staged by the Masonic Lodge, and that’s a really nice touch, having some of their brand-new cars with us.”
According to the mayor, who co-founded Destination Conshohocken with wife Sarah, area businesses “continue to be very supportive.” Guppy’s restaurant is this year’s Lead Sponsor. Great American Pub and Flanigan’s Boathouse are Lower End Stage Sponsors, and Conicelli Autoplex, PECO and Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board are Community Sponsors.
