In late June, the Algonquin Boys Tennis will hold a Tennis Clinic for kids entering grades K-8. The program will take place on five evenings at ARHS’ tennis courts.
The clinic is a team fundraiser run by the team’s coach with help from players and parent volunteers.
According to their flyer, kids don’t need any experience playing to take part. Kids will be split by age group.
The dates are scheduled for 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, June 23rd through Friday, June 27th. But rain could push some of the days to the following week.
The fee is $250 per child.
Registration is limited to the first 24 participants — 4 players per court. (The number of tennis courts was reduced from 9 to 6 as part of the GonkPlex project. The good news is that the reconstructed courts installed less than two years ago should be in great shape!)
If it doesn’t fill up sooner, the cutoff for signup is June 15th.
