Football Italia brings you the top five transfer stories of the day, including Raffaele Palladino resigning as Fiorentina coach and Inter completing their first summer signing.
The summer transfer window is just around the corner, but Juventus and Inter, the Serie A representatives in the Club World Cup, will have an extra slot available for new signings next month. Today, the Nerazzurri completed their first deal.
Luis Henrique set to join Inter
According to multiple sources, including Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with Marseille over Luis Henrique’s transfer fee. The Brazilian will join the Serie A giants for €23m plus €2m add-ons.
Milan Allegri
The Livorno-born coach has already held talks with Napoli to potentially replace Antonio Conte, but the latter is still unsure about his future at the club, so Milan have moved quickly to call their former boss and offer a €3.5m-a-year contract for three years, as per Calciomercato.com.

David set for Napoli move?
Il Corriere dello Sport has reported that free agent Jonathan David has a verbal agreement with Napoli for a summer transfer. Other Italian media have reported that Napoli already met the striker’s entourage, but nobody else is reporting that the Canadian will surely move to the Stadio Maradona.

Juventus follow Gyokeres
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres is Juventus’ main target if they fail to sign Victor Osimhen. Despite a €100m clause, Gyokeres could still leave his club for circa €70m, but Juventus will face stiff competition from Arsenal.
Palladino resigns
Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino surprisingly resigned this morning, according to Sky Sport Italia. Fiorentina had recently activated a clause to extend his contract to 2027. The club are still trying to convince the 41-year-old to remain at the Franchi and haven’t yet released a statement about the matter.
