It seems Apple was enamored with RAC7 because it bought the small studio to help it grow its game more on Apple Arcade. However, the tech giant will continue to work with third-party studios to create games for the service.
This acquisition could mean the beginning of Apple’s video game empire, although it would need to compete with huge players like Microsoft and Sony. Considering we got an AR headset from Apple, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an Apple games console one day.
