MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – A fan-favorite food truck in Marquette is now open for the season.
VanLandschoot & Sons Fish Market has been family owned and operated out of Munising since 1914.
The food truck in Marquette opened up Saturday. The truck is parked across from McCarty’s Cove on Lakeshore Boulevard. Head Chef Hunter Brown says he’s excited to serve his customers in a brand new truck.
“We like having people feel like family when they come in,” said Brown. “It was great to see the faces of the community that I was able to serve all last year and have them tell me, ‘We’re happy to see your back,’ and to be able to serve them the same food, have them come up to me and tell me, ‘That’s exactly what we wanted,’ right back.”
There will be a food truck in Munising this year as well. The truck in Marquette will have an expanded menu soon.
