As is often the case with video game subscription services, the rotation of titles is constant. This time, PlayStation Plus subscribers at the Extra and Premium levels will have access to six exceptional games on June 17. These include the critically acclaimed action RPG Monster Hunter Rise, the intriguing horror and card game Inscryption, and the addictive roguelike Rogue Legacy 2.
The list of games leaving the service includes After Us, an adventure game with a deep narrative and striking visuals; AVICII Invector, a vibrant rhythm game paying homage to the famous DJ; and Kayak VR: Mirage, a virtual reality game offering breathtaking landscapes. While fewer titles are leaving compared to previous months, such as May, when more than 20 games were released, this selection includes some critical and community favorites.
It’s not all departures; we already know the first game
However, June 17 will not only be a day of farewells, as we already have the first title that will arrive on PlayStation Plus Extra that day. It is not very common for a game to arrive on day one to Sony’s service, but FBC: Firebreak, the next title from Remedy Entertainment, will arrive that same day. Just don’t expect much of the cinematic experiences that the studio has accustomed us to, this being more of a cooperative shooter within the same Control universe inside The Oldest House, the main setting of this game.
For now, this morning Sony already unveiled what players will receive throughout the month in PlayStation Plus at its basic level, and you can read about it here.
